IN THE BEGINNING

The purpose of this lesson is to clarify what the Bible teaches about our God and His creation, as well as the scientific side of the search for truths of our origins. The Bible is truth, and science searches for truth, so there should be no contradictions. We should always have justification for what we believe.
1 Pet 3:15  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:  16 ¶  Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

So let’s begin with the first verse of the Bible:
1 ¶  In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

This verse is filled with information. The study of the Hebrew words and their meaning has continued since Moses wrote them down as directed by God, the eternal One, who was, is, and is to come. But, for now, look; for science has placed all that we know into time, space, and matter. Time=the beginning…the start of time, Space=heaven, Matter=earth; all put forth by God.

There are different concepts today about the beginning that range from a universe formed by chance without intelligence (an expansion of the theory of evolution by Charles Darwin) to that of strict creationists that believe that the universe was created by God in 6 days, 6000 years ago. In this study I will show by scripture, science, and evidence that the original creation was by God and before the 6 days of Genesis.

**I will be quoting from different resources during this study:

In Genesis 1:1 God is the Hebrew Elohiym which is a plural term. God is in 3 persons. In verse 2 we see the Spirit of God, and in verse 3 we see the Word of God. This mark of 3 is upon everything. Christians understand that God is triune, or the Trinity.

Space is height, width, and depth.
Matter is solid, liquid, and gas…all composed of atoms that are: protons, neutrons, and electrons.
Time is past, present, and future.

Other Creation Scriptures

Ps 33:5  He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
6  By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
7  He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.

Ps 33:18  That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Isa 40:12 ¶  Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance?
13  Who hath directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor hath taught him?
14  With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding?

Ps 102:25  Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
26  They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
27  But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

There is a growing group of several hundred scientists that are rejecting the evolutionary principle because it does not collaborate with the evidence discovered. They are not necessarily religious but believe that the discoveries of science support intelligent design over that of chance. Some of the points elaborated are that:

·         The earth is exactly within the small habitable orbit distance from the sun; closer it would burn, further it would freeze
·         The solar system is exactly in the small habitable orbit in the galaxy
·         The sun is exactly the right size for us to receive heat, light, and life giving energy
·         The tilt of the earth’s axis and orbit are exactly right for our seasons and times
·         Earth has exactly the right amount of water for life as we know
·         The moon appears exactly the same size as the sun allowing for the rhythmic viewing of solar eclipses
·         The moon always faces us with the same side according to its rotation
·         Giant gas planets protect us from asteroids and comets

Ps 8:1 ¶  « To the chief Musician upon Gittith, A Psalm of David. » O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
2  Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
3 ¶  When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;
4  What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
5  For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6  Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
7  All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8  The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.
9  O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Heb1:1 ¶  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4 ¶  Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

Isa 45;11 ¶  Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
12  I have made the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

Astronomy in the Bible

·         The sun and it’s circuits that moves at 600,000 mph around the galaxy.

Ps 19:1 ¶  « To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. » The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2  Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3  There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4  Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5  Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6  His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.

 ·         Planets with life are very very rare. In the study of astronomy, none have been found

The earth hangs in space and is a sphere:
Job 26:7  He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

Pv 8:27  When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
Isa 40:22  It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

People have tried to count the stars or centuries; there are about 4000 visible to the naked eye. The Bible states that there are stars of the heaven like the sand of the sea, Gn 22:17, Jer 33:22
Modern astronomy estimates the stars at being 10 to the 26th power, 100 million billion billion. Counting 10 per second it would take a thousand million billion years to get to that number. However, this is the same estimate of the number of sand grains in the earth too.

Ps 147:4  He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
5  Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

Now lets move into Gn 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; …. God did not make the earth that way, but the Word teaches that it was created beautiful and perfect.

The earth was wonderful and not void, Job 38:4-11
The pillars of the earth are the Lord’s…He sat the world upon them, 1Sm 2:8b
The earth was in perfection, Job 15:29b
The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, Ps24.1
The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD, Ps 33:5
The earth is full of His riches, Ps 104:24
Wisdom founded the earth and heavens, Pv 3:19
Wisdom (Jesus) is there when the earth was made habitable, Pv 8:22-31
The earth was formed to be inhabited, Is 45:18

So, what happened that made the earth formless and void? Rebellion

Continuing in Gn 1:2… and darkness was on the face of the deep
Hebrew for deep is thowm also means the abyss (8415) root meaning: uproar, agitate, destroy.

The depths of the sea…the gates of death, Job 38:16-17

Demons ask Jesus not to be sent to the deep, Lk 8:31 (128 Gk abyss, bottomless pit)

Jesus preached to prisoners in hades/pit, 1 Pet 3:19-20, Eph 4, Is 42:7

Angels which sinned are in chains in the lowest pit, Jude 6

The future holds more for the devil and his angels and the demons involving the abyss and their final destination, the lake of fire. This is the real hell and sits below the lowest part of hades and the pit.
Satan is cast in the bottomless pit for 1000 years, Rev 20:23
Abbaddon opens the bottomless pit during the tribulation, Rev 9
Lake of fire was made for the devil and his angels, Mt 25:41

It appears that the rebellion of Lucifer had taken place by Gn 1:2 and the prison for the fallen angels was in place.

Continuing on in Gn 1:2….And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The destruction that caused the earth to be formless and void was a flood.

Ps 24:2  For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Science agrees that the last worldwide ice age was about 10,500 years ago.

According  to  Biblical record, it has been 6126 years since the 1st man Adam in 2017.
Understand that 4000 years of that record was on a lunar calendar of 360 day years, and 2000 years was on a solar calendar of 365.25 day years.

When Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden, God made them “coats” of skins (total body covering) for the weather was extremely cold, Gn 3:21.

Science has discovered that Alaska, Siberia, and the Northern Arctic regions were all covered in lush vegetation in the ancient past. In a cataclysmic event, all was churned and frozen in perma-frost, with the large mammoths encased in the mud/ice in a very short time. In 1970 there was a mammoth uncovered that was frozen so fast, it was still edible.

St Petersburg stuffed mammoth.

Science believes that the ancient world was destroyed suddenly causing the extinction of so many large reptiles and mammals. Their evidence is fossils.

Luba frozen mammoth calf in Royal BC

Science has determined that coal is formed from a vast collection of plants that were gathered in one place and compressed.

A Glossopteris leaf from the Prince Charles Mountains.

Billions of compressed leaves and wood fragments have generated thick coal beds in Antarctica

Oil also is formed from vast collections of animals gathered and compressed.

Many trees have been found that permeate several layers (polystrate) of coal or sediment, meaning that the coal or sediment was laid down all at once.

Hominoid bones found in cave in South Africa.

2 cataclysmic worldwide floods that the Bible describes would account for these things. Again evidence found agrees with the Biblical accounts; the flood before Adam, and Noah’s flood which was 1656 years after Adam, Gn 6. Much of the waters that covered the earth in Gn 1:2 were ice.

Fossilized Tortoise found buried in Colombia.

 Lucifer (light bringer) Satan (adversary)

The belief that all creation took place in the 6 days of Genesis leaves no place for the creation of the angels, including Lucifer, or the rebellion and Lucifer’s name changed to Satan. Yet we know that by the time that Eve meets Satan, he is a renegade spirit, an outcast without any significant power. He has to possess a serpent to even talk to Eve. When he does talk, he is denying what God has said.

God in His infinite wisdom included in His Word information about the devil, his rebellion, and his final demise for us to know about our enemy. In the time before Adam, Lucifer had a throne on the earth, there were cities, and many types of life, but none made in God’s image.

                                                             Reconstructed Hominid

10 years ago I went into a lot of detail about Satan, but I am not spending a lot of time on that in this study.  Here are some scriptures for you if you want to look further into this:
Is 14, Ez 28, Jer 4:23-31, Job 30.

Satan is known as the “god of this world”, 2 Cor 4:4,  and “the prince of the power of the air”, Ep 2:2. He got this power when he deceived Adam into disobeying God and assumed Adam’s dominion of the earth. He will cause trouble for mankind, God’s most prized creation, until the time of man’s dominion is over. Satan then will be cast into the lake of fire along with his angels and all who follow him, Rev 20.

The Gap Theory

So, there was a time before Adam which makes the earth much older than 6000 years. This is how I understand the separation of Gn1 and 2. Many who profess the Gap Theory believe in creation mixed with evolution…I do not. God is the creator.

Relevant is when God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and replenish the earth, Gn 1:28. This is the same thing God told Noah after his flood Gn 9:1. This implies life before the flood in both cases.
Ps 104:30  Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.
Ps 90:1 ¶  « A Prayer of Moses the man of God. » Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
2  Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
3  Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

2 Pet 3:5  For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6  Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

We will discuss more creation with scientific facts and the evolution theory which is without those facts when we get to evolution following this beginning study.
Ps 97:1 ¶  The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

Continuing in Gn 1:3 And God said…

God speaks and things happen without fail.
Is 55:11  So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
Is 40:8  The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

We do need to understand that the Word is God, and that the Word became flesh and dwelled with men as a man, Jesus, Jn 1:1-14

As mentioned earlier we have the Trinity represented in the first 3 verses of Genesis: God, Spirit of God, and the Word of God. Even though “Trinity” is not in the Bible, it describes a triune God which is in 3 persons. Not 3 Gods, 1 God.

The Trinity and triune universe are not a logical absurdity, as some people and religions claim, but is a scientific, living reality. After the resurrection of Jesus from the dead and His sending of the Holy Spirit, the Trinity is the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

The Bible says that His eternal power and Godhead are clearly evident in the things that we see, that He made, Rm 1. It may be difficult to think of the Trinity as one God, but look at the universe; it is composed of matter, space, and time. It is not part of each but all space, all matter, and all time…this is a trinity. As mentioned, but in more detail each component of the universe is also a trinity.

Space is measured in 3 dimensions which is multiplied to find the volume: length, height, and width. So the math of the Trinity is 1 X 1 X 1 =1.

Time is experienced in 3 parts; past, present, and future. Each is distinct, but meaningless without the other two. The future, unseen or experienced source of time, present is the time being seen, past proceeds from future through the present into the realm of past experience.

Matter is unseen energy manifesting itself in motion and experienced in various phenomena. These phenomena all occur in space through time. Unseen but omni-present energy generates motion velocity of which is the ratio of space to time. Depending on the rates and types of motion various phenomena are experienced; light, sound, texture, harness, heat, etc.
Matter appears in 3 states; solid, liquid, and gas.
Matter is composed of molecules which are composed of atoms. Atoms are the smallest part of elements which are basically 3 parts; protons, neutrons, and electrons. There are smaller particles that comprise protons and neutrons, but they are only found when the atom is broken apart called leptons and quarks.

There are 3 main forces as well: gravity, electromagnetism, and nuclear. Nuclear is broken down into strong and weak force.

Einstein’s theory of relativity is  E=MC2. The vast power that is contained in the atom is partially comprehended here in mathematical terms. That very power is from God.
Jesus holds all power in the universe, Heb 1:1-3
By Jesus all things consist (are held together), Col 1:17

Einstein also came up with a special relativity theory which dealt with gravity which changes space time.

Heb 11:3  Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Continuing in Gn 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. (Heb: bring forth light and light was)

Hebrew for God’s name of the eternal Holy One is yud hey vav hey. This is not pronounceable for the Hebrews and they say Hashem or the Name. Jehovah is what the letters spell using the pronunciation punctuation used in Adoni.  Some try and call the name Yaweh. Shortened it is Jah (Elijah Halelujah). So, the thing that is recorded that God spoke was the Name of His Son, Jesus (Gk) Yeshua or Joshua. God called Jesus forth, and He brought the light.

1 Jn 1:5b…that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
Jn 1:6-10 John the Baptist came to be a witness of the true Light which lights every man that comes into the world.
Jn 8:12 Jesus said, I AM the light of the world…

Science used to think as photons being a wave that was emitted from an atom, now they think it is an elementary particle that is charged with electromagnetic energy and produces light.

According to Einstein’s theory, when matter would accelerate to the speed of light, mass would become infinite and time would stop. Science has proved that time slows with acceleration. We have seen that He is light, and in God’s realm of heaven time does not exist. God is infinite and is everywhere in the universe.
2 Pe 3:8  But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Ps 139:7-12 God is everywhere in the universe and sees everything.

Continuing in Gn 1:4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness

God saw the light that it was good.

It has been stipulated that darkness is only the absence of light; but science is finding that it may have substance.

Not long ago science believed that after Creation (big bang), all of the universe was expanding and slowing down because of gravity and would eventually collapse on itself and there might be another big bang. Since the Hubble telescope science now has observed that the universe is expanding more rapidly that it was a long time ago.

Dark Matter and Energy

Even though it cannot be seen and emits no light, science now thinks that the universe is composed of 68% dark energy, and 27% dark matter. The 5% remaining is what we can see. Science know that this is a mystery, and their calculations are because of the force actions on the bodies we can see.

Abell 2744 blue is dark matter

Ps 18:11 God made darkness his secret place…His pavilion round about him wer dark waters and thick clouds…
Job 38:9 (on the creation of earth) When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddlingband for it.
Ex 20:21 … Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.
Ps 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
It looks like God is light, but He can dwell in the darkness. We do know that God is omnipresent.

The first creation of earth had been corrupted and God had caused it to become formless and void. Now it was being reestablished based on His goodness.
Ps 104:30 God renews the face of the earth.

Continuing in Gn 1:5 And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and morning were the first day. ( Hebrew: there was evening and morning, day 1).

I have no reason to believe that this was anything different than a 24 hour day. Even though there was an undetermined amount of time (smaller that is supposed and taught) before this creation week, the times that we have since then were established by God as we will see.
The times established for the forming of the earth and of life in the scientific community have been changed for the greater in the last several decades; from hundreds of thousands of years to billions of years.
It seems that the evolutionary thought process believes that anything can form by chance, given enough time. Elaborate formulas are developed that at first glance seem to “prove” these vast ages. We will discuss flaws in this later on in this study.

Continuing in Gn 1: 6 ¶  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.
7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.
8  And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

We understand today that the weather is dependent on the moisture in the atmosphere. Here it is fitly explained. Hydrology is the study of the actions of water. Before this science was established, there was ancient understanding of the weather cycles written in scripture.
Job 36: 27  For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:
28  Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
Eccl 1:6  The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.
7  All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

Water is one of the basic keys in having life as we know and understand. The earth is very special because of its abundant water.

Continuing Gn 1: 9 ¶  And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Pangaea is the one continent scientific theory that divided into the 7 continents of the earth. The Bible tells us that in the days of Peleg, the earth was divided. This would be after the Tower of Babble.

10  And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

11  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

12  And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13  And the evening and the morning were the third day.

The almost infinite species of plant life in the earth is astounding we are still discovering new ones. The interaction with the animals is an intricate balance that life on earth depends on and was founded on. It is obvious when we clear cut or burn large amounts of forests, that the environment suffers. This again goes back to:
Rm 1:20..the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead so they are without excuse.

With all of the scientific research and experiments preformed, we have never been able to understand or copy a seed.

Seeds can last thousands of years and still germinate (Egyptian tombs) or float for years and wash up on a new volcanic beach and grow (South Pacific).

We can graft and cross plants to get mor production or even seedless fruit. However, the many types of wheat was a intelligent design that protects against disease. Too much meddling could hurt the future of wheat production.

All in all we have not produced any new species, only refined what was available. The life in the plant is in the seed, within itself… as it was created.

Continuing Gn 1: 14 ¶  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15  And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
16  And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
17  And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,
18  And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good.
19  And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

Light from Jesus on day 1 has been present till this day, (and still is) but the newly created plants have to have the sunlight in order to complete photosynthesis in order to survive. So, God lights the sun on day 4. The Bible is not clear of the state of the sun in the time before the 6 days. It is possible in the war with Lucifer that the reaction of the sun was stopped and that is what caused the ice age.
Science has generally accepted the theory of a comet striking the earth and covering the atmosphere with clouds that killed of the dinosaurs, which would have been in the time before the 6 days.

Since day 4, our times, seasons, days, and years are all based on the sun, moon, and stars. I do not believe that this verse implies that the sun, moon, and stars were made on this day. Without the sun’s light, you cannot see the moon, and the Spirit of God seems to add that “He made the stars also.”

Continuing Gn 1:20 ¶  And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

21  And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

22  And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.
23  And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

As far as the order of Creation, we see the ocean’s many life forms made first, and then the birds.
Even though the evolution theory is not founded on facts, it still claims that the oceans had animal life first.

Continuing Gn 1: 24 ¶  And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

25  And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

26 ¶  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Triune being; body, soul, and spirit, 1Thess 5:23)

28  And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 ¶  And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30  And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.

31 ¶  And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

God tells Adam to replenish the earth, alluding to a previous population. This would include the dinosaurs and hominoids as evidenced in the fossils of the flood in Gn 1:2.  God says the same statement to Noah in Gn 9:1, after the flood described in Gn 6.

The origin of life can only be comprehended by a Creator, or as science calls it, intelligent design. Modern man was created in the image of God with an ability to speak, create, and have faith. Jesus taught us that the spirit of man can be reborn in Him.
We cannot trace our ancestry further back than Adam. Science speaks of modern man being about 10,000 years ago, about the same as the ice age. Biblical times would be 6126 years ago (from 2017)

The complexity of DNA, the human body, diversity of plants and animals, all point to a Creator by scientific reasoning.
·         DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is the blueprint of living things. Each strand is about 6’ long. If the DNA cells in a human body were stretched out end to end it would go to the moon and back 20,000 times. If the information contained in one human DNA cell were transposed to a computer and printed, the paper would fill the Grand Canyon.

·         There are 75 trillion cells in the human body. Each has a DNA strand to define each cell’s function and compatibility with the rest of the body cells.
·         Each cell has 50 billion atoms.
·         50,000 cells die and are replaced every 4 seconds.
·         24 sq ft of skin is replaced every 2 weeks.
·         The blood vessels in the body if stretched out linear would circle the earth 3 times.
·         Within the blood vessels are 25 trillion blood cells. (life is in blood Lv 17:11)
·         Within the womb during human development, the 1,000,000 nerves in the optic nerve are       connected from the eye to the brain, each exactly.

Ps 139:14  I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15  My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16  Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

A mental reference of comparison for these large numbers:
1 mill seconds ago is 12 days ago
1 bill seconds ago is 32 years ago
1 trill seconds ago was 31,710 years ago

If you spent $100 a minute it would take 1902 years to spend a trillion dollars.

Salt cube crystals: 1000=yd, sq yd= million, cu yd= billion, a swimming pool 15'x33'= trillion

The law of probability of life coming into existence by chance is not comprehendible, 4^300.  Science estimates that the atoms in the universe are 10^78-82. Even the simplest life forms with all of the different chemicals and components that would have to mix in exact proportions, mathematically could not have happened even once in 13 billion years (proposed age).
Yet that is accepted and taught in much of science. They look for another reason, and God is not considered in much of the scientific world.

Gn 2:1 ¶  Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2  And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3  And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. {created … : Heb. created to make }

A big point here is God was finished with creation on day 6 and called all very good.  Science agrees that matter/energy cannot be created or destroyed, the first law of Thermo Dynamics.
The second law of Thermo Dynamics states that all things deteriorate and that all energy dissipates, with some not recoverable. In other words, everything ages and wears out.
Ps 102: 25  Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.
26  They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
27  But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

That is why we have not developed perpetual motion machines, for without energy being added to a machine the friction and wear will stop it. This second law has to be ignored to accept much of the popular evolution theory.

The fall of man is actually the start of this decay. Satan is ruling with the dominion of Adam.
Rm 8:20  For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21  Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22  For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

God has promised that He will make all things new:
Rev 21:1a ¶  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
Isa 65:17 ¶  For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Isa 66:22  For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

The rest of Gn 2 has some interesting things to learn about the Creation week:
·         There was no rain, only a heavy dew that watered the earth
·         God breathed the breath of life into Man who was made from the elements of the earth.
·         God made man before God planted the Garden of Eden
·         Man could eat freely of every tree in the garden, except the Tree of the Knowledge of Blessing and Calamity
·         The Tree of Life was in the garden, eating would make a mortal man live forever. It will return in the New Jerusalem.
·         Adam named all the species of animals and remembered them (700,000)
·         Woman was made from Adam’s rib, and marriage instituted.

Summary and review:
·         God created the heaven and earth sometime in the far distant past.
·         The earth was made beautiful, made to be inhabited.
·         There was a system on the earth which Lucifer had been given authority over. With his wisdom and pride, he corrupted the perfect earth.
·         God took this world away from Lucifer, and it became formless and void. The Cherub’s new name became Satan, and a prison (abyss, pit) was created for the angels that followed in the rebellion.
·         God renewed the earth and all that is in 6 days.
·         God gave dominion of the earth to Adam, a man created in the image of God.
·         The 7th day God was finished, and Creation ceased.
·         Satan’s deception of Eve through possessing the serpent allowed him to have dominion of the earth and decay followed.

The points made thus far in this study are congruent with science and the evidence supports Biblical accounts.

I believe that God entrusted Lucifer to prepare the earth for God and His Host to move here. After the rebellion, God wanted a human companion made in His own image. The fall of man has delayed those things but in the future, the Bible shows us that God moves to the earth and lives with men. The story is simply told in my book The Plan: A Biblical Adventure available at Amazon.com.

Through Jesus, God restored Grace to men by His sacrifice on the cross to pay for man's fall and your sin; past, present, and future. In Jesus Christ, you have obtained His righteousness as a gift and have right standing with God.

Resurrection Rapture Rescue

God is so good. He loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus to die for us and deliver us from sin and His wrath, Jn 3:16. You see God requires justice, and His Word says:
Ro 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God had originally made man to be an eternal companion, but the original man, Adam broke the only command that God had said and sin and death entered the world. His wife, Eve was tempted by the devil and he followed her lead.
Gn 2:16 ¶  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17  But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

God is loving and righteous, but perfect and so, requires perfection. When there is sin, there is death. Adam's life was prolonged because God instituted innocent animal sacrifice to cover man's sin from year to year.

God made covenant with a man called Abraham 430 years before Moses and Abraham believed what God said and followed him. God counted that to him as righteousness. It was God's plan to have a close relationship with men, like Abraham and they would be His special treasure and follow God. Man would not allow the goodness that God wanted to give by His Grace, and wanted to depend upon their own ability to earn God's favor. That did not, and does not work.

At the time of Moses, God instituted the law, 613 commandments. Most of us are familiar with the first 10. If you could keep all of the commandments, you would be perfect in God's sight. No one could do that.

So God sent Himself to be a man, born from a virgin, to live a perfect life without ever breaking God's law, and so, to be without sin. This was Jesus, who bore the wrath of God so that we could be free from wrath and blessed. Who bore man's sin so that we could become his righteousness. Who bore our sickness that we could be healed. He experienced death, so we could have eternal life.

After Jesus was crucified by the Roman government prompted by the Religious Jews who would not believe that He was the prophesied Messiah, God raised Him from the dead, and He now sits at the right hand of God as King of the Universe. All who come to God, come through Him. He promised that He would come again for His followers.

I gave this brief history to give you a glimpse of the Heart of God. He loves you dearly and wants the best for you.

 First Resurrection

Now there are several resurrections from the dead in the Bible. But many are individuals who were raised from the dead, and then died again.

Before the resurrection of Jesus, no one went to heaven when they died. Man's sin had touched heaven and nobody could enter. They went to a place called Sheol in Hebrew, or Hades in Greek. Literally this is the grave. There is a chasm between the upper and lower parts of Hades, the upper part being called Paradise. The lower part is commonly known as "hell" and sits over the lake of fire, Lk 16. By the way, no one is in the lake of fire now. The first entrants will be the anti-Christ and False Prophet, Rev 19:20. The lake of fire was made for the devil and his angels, Mt 25:41.

When Jesus was on the cross their were two thieves on either side. The one on the left said if you are the Son of God save yourself and us, while the one on the right scolded the other thief and said this man was innocent. Then he looked at Jesus and said, "Lord remember me when you come into your kingdom." Jesus said, "Today you will be with me in Paradise."

In Eph 4 we read that Jesus descended into Hades (Paradise) and preached to the spirits in prison. He took them out of there at His resurrection.

Mt 27:50 ¶  Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51  And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
52  And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
53  And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

This is the first recorded resurrection of the Old Testament Saints who believed in and trusted in God and believed in the coming Messiah. These are people ranging from Adam to John the Baptist.

In all the other religions in the world, their leaders are in the grave. But, Christianity is different; Jesus' tomb is empty, for He was the firstborn of the dead and lives as God and our King eternally.

Rapture and Second Resurrection

The word rapture is not in the Bible. It comes from a Latin word 'rapturo' that means to "catch away upward". In English it is also defined as intense joy.

One of the foundation scriptures supporting the catching away of the Church to meet Jesus is:
1Thess 4:13 ¶  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15  For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18  Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The next scripture is: 1 Cor 15: 51 ¶  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55  O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56  The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Here we see when Jesus returns for His Church, the dead that are in Christ are raised first and then those who are alive will be changed to immortals instantly.

Well we need to talk about the time here. Many Christians only believe in the 2nd coming, which is actually at the last battle on the earth or Armageddon. Here is a time line:

In the scheme of things there is a period called the tribulation, which is the last time of "Jacob's trouble" and a period of 7 years. This is a time of trouble greater that the world has ever seen. In fact Jesus said unless those days were shortened, none would survive. It is the last time of judgement on Israel for rejecting their Messiah, Jesus. It is also a time of judgement on the earth for those who reject Jesus and destroy the earth, Daniel and Revelation.

The rapture will take place to take the Church of Jesus Christ out of the earth for this terrible time.
Jesus has paid the price for His own so that they do not suffer the wrath of God. This is Salvation and a free gift by God's Grace for those who will believe in Jesus.

Ro 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

1 Thess 1:10  And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

1 Thess 5:9  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Col 3:4  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

The Bible calls the Church of Jesus, His Bride. This is represented in several places in Scripture; Song of Solomon, the story of Isaac and Rebecca, the story of Boaz and Ruth, to name a few. In Revelation, John is shown the Bride of Christ in the final chapters. We as Jesus' Bride are to meet Him in the air at the Rapture and be forever with Him.

While the tribulation period is taking place on the earth, Jesus' Church and Bride are having a wedding feast with Him in Heaven.

Rev 19:6  And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
7  Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
8  And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
9  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

There will be many that come to Jesus Christ during the 7 year tribulation, however the evil anti-Christ who will rule the New World Order government will cause those who worship Jesus to be executed; usually by beheading. In Revelation 7 you see a great number who are slain for Jesus and His testimony standing before God in Heaven.
During this time 144,000 Israeli evangelists will be preaching their Messiah Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew) throughout the world.

There will also be two prophets of God that preach in Jerusalem. They have supernatural power and will continue with their message directly to Israel. Paul tells us that all of Israel will be saved. Zechariah tells us that they will mourn for the one they pierced. I believe that these two prophets are Enoch and Elijah. These are the only two men in the Bible who were raptured without experiencing death. Revelation tells us that they will be killed by the anti-Christ after their ministry is complete. Then after 3 1/2 days they will be called by God and raised from the dead and taken to Heaven.

Mid-Tribulation Rapture for 144,000

It appears that John sees another Rapture for those marked by God in the middle of the Tribulation in Rev 14:
1 ¶  And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
2  And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
3  And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4  These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5  And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

God does not forget his new saints which have come to Jesus from the word of the 144,000, the prophecy and words of Enoch and Elijah, and the words of the Angels of God in the heavens preaching the gospel. It is another Rapture mid-tribulation that will deliver Jesus' own from the horrible finish of the time of wrath.

Rev 14:12  Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13 ¶  And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
14  And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15  And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16  And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

These cannot be the dead, for they are not raised until the end of the Tribulation in Rev 20:4-5.

Following these verses is another angel with a sickle for the evil ones that throws them into the winepress of the wrath of God.
Rev 14:15  And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16  And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
17  And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18  And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19  And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20  And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

This scripture is leading us to Armageddon and the last battle of the Tribulation of Satan against Jesus where the blood will flow for 200 miles as deep as a horse's bridle bit.

Post Tribulation Resurrection

After the anti-Christ and the armies of the world come against Jesus and the armies of Heaven at Armageddon, we see the resurrection of those Christians killed in the Tribulation. The coming of Jesus here is commonly referred to as the Second Coming. Jesus said that the whole world will see Him return as Heaven is opened and He appears like lightning from the East to the West.

Rev 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Do not get confused by the phrase in vs 5 that this is the first resurrection. It is the first resurrection after the Tribulation. We have already seen two resurrections prior to this in Scripture.

These who are resurrected to be Kings and Priests of our Lord Jesus will still be part of the Bride of Christ.

The last resurrection is of the unjust at the end of the millenial reign of Christ.
Rev 20:11 ¶  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

A word here about the lake of fire. It was not created for man, but for the devil and his angels that rebelled against God. The first entrants will be the anti-Christ and the false prophet. It was not the will of God that any would perish, but some people will not accept God's Salvation which is through His Son, Jesus.
Joh 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I believe that there will be some that pass the judgment of the Great White Throne. I mean God is fair and there are some who have died that have never heard about the Salvation of God in Jesus and yet have lived their lives as good people, in line with God's Word. Jesus is the Word made flesh.  I see nothing in scripture that says that Paradise has not been repopulated since Jesus' resurrection, or that it is not a place in Hades still. Be that as it may if you are in Jesus, you have nothing to fear and will not be part of the Great White Throne Judgment.

Christian Judgement

There will be a judgment for the Christian. It is called the Judgment Seat of Christ or the Bema Judgment in Greek.
1 Cor 3:11 ¶  For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13  Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
14  If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
15  If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

This is a proceeding to determine reward, like the one who finishes a race at the Olympics (Bema). There will not be any sin brought up, for that is removed by the Blood of Christ. The judgment then is what did you do with your Salvation? Will it stand the test of fire? And this is the fire of God, which came on the day of Pentecost, 2000 years ago and will come in the future to cleanse the whole planet. Then the New Jerusalem arrives and eternity begins.

Summary

So we have seen the Old Testament Church who died in faith of the coming Messiah, raised from the dead to ascend into Heaven with Jesus at His resurrection.

We wait now for Jesus to come in the clouds with the sound of the trumpet and take Saints from the last 2000 years.

Then we who are alive at His coming in the clouds will be changed to immortals without death and meet the Lord in the air and in the clouds, 1 Thess 4:13-.

With the Church gone, the anti-Christ will rise to power over the earth and the 7 year tribulation begins.
God marks the 144,000 Israeli evangelists to preach to the earth of the Jewish Messiah.
God sends Enoch and Elijah to preach in Jerusalem as powerful prophets. When they are finished, the anti-Christ will kill them and after 3 1/2 days God raises them from the dead and takes them to Heaven.
Angels of God preach the everlasting gospel as they fly through the heavens.

Mid-Tribulation God raptures (redeems) the 144,000 and then the Saints that are alive with the sickle of the one who appears like the Son of man.

Jesus returns with all the Saints and has war with the anti-Christ and his armies, Armageddon. The 2nd coming for all the world to see.  He sets foot on the earth at the Mt. of Olives and it splits and divides with an earthquake, Zec 14:4. The Christians who become so in the Tribulation will know of the exact date of the coming of Jesus.
This was revealed to Daniel that the anti-Christ would take away the sacrifice in the temple that will be built and place an image of himself in the temple which marks the exact time for the return.
Dan 12:8  And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9  And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10  Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12  Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
13  But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

The last 45 days probably include the resurrection of the Saints that were martyred during the Tribulation and the setting up of the Kingdom of Jesus on the earth.

The last resurrection recorded in Scripture is at the end of the 1000 year reign of Jesus on the earth, which is a rest for the earth and the last chance for those people in that period to receive Jesus. There will be the Great White Throne judgement where everyone's actions good and bad are laid bare before the Supreme Judge, Rev 20.

After this is eternity with God the Father and God the Son, Jesus reigning from the New Jerusalem on earth. There will be no need of further resurrections or Raptures for if you are mortal, you can eat of the trees of life at Jerusalem and live forever. Immortals are already in a body similar to that of Jesus, Phil 3:21.

For the Skeptics

Jesus spoke of the coming resurrection when He went to raise his friend Lazarus from the dead. Martha, Lazarus' sister, went out to meet Jesus and told him that if he would have been here, her brother would not have died. Jesus told her he would rise again. She responded that she knew he would rise again at the resurrection. Lazarus had been dead for 4 days.

Jn 11:25  Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26  And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Can you see here the roots of what Paul wrote in Thessalonians and Corinthians spoken by our Master?
The dead in Christ will rise and then those alive will be changed and never die. This is the coming of Jesus in the clouds; the resurrection and the Rapture.

The last Prophet of the OT is Malachi which mentions the event of the Rapture.
Mal 3:16  Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
17  And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

Here are some Scriptures that declare protection of Christians (God's own) from God's wrath that will be poured out during the Tribulation:

Rm 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Isa 57:1 ¶  The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
2  He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

Isa 26:19  Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
20 ¶  Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
21  For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for
their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

Rev 3:10  Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

1 Thess 5:9  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

1Thess 1:10  And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Lk 21:34  And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Zeph 2:1 ¶  Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired;
2  Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD’S anger come upon you.
3  Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.

Na 1:2 ¶  God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

More Scriptures that Testify to the Pre-Trib Rapture

Rv 4:1 ¶  After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.
2  And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Rev 5:7  And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
8  And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
9  And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
10  And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Col 3:4  When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Heb 12:22  But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23  To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24  And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Mt 24:37  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40  Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41  Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42  Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43  But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44  Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Dan 12:1 ¶  And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2  And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Lk 17:33  Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.
34  I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35  Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36  Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37  And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

I have given you a lot of golden nuggets from Scripture that stand behind the Rapture of the Church. I am sure with study and research you can find more for it is no longer a hidden truth.

One day soon, the trumpet will sound. Do not try and place the trumpet into the 7 trumpets in Revelation, for it will confuse you. Many festivals and special events were announced with trumpets. To try and guess the exact time is also futile, but Jesus told us to take heed of the signs of the times.

There have been many signs in the last several years such as: increased violent storms, increased number and intensity of earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars, and signs in the heavens like the blood moons and eclipses that fall on Jewish festivals.

I am not making any type of time prediction, but I know that every day brings us closer and that we will be going home soon.

The King will be calling His Bride and by His Grace she has made herself spotless in His Blood so that we by faith are ready.

I have posted this blog to give you hope and comfort, for when Jesus returns it will be a glorious day and a happy reunion.
